OK, not that interesting to many of you, but I’m pretty happy with it. It SEEMS like a steal, and so far it really appears that way.
Anyway, it’s a Korean-made Cort model, M800. Like the one here.
I bought it from Gelb music’s consignment shop. I suspect it is so cheap because it’s a “Cort” and it doesn’t say “Gibson” on the headstock. Well, either that or the guitar sucks but I’m not good enough to tell.
Now that summer is over, it’s time to get more musical work done. Summer is always difficult as I like to go on long weekend (or longer) excursions to enjoy the beauty that California has to offer. I ended up dragging the family on a week long jaunt up to southern Oregon, which they seemed to enjoy (with the exception of the long drive, which, of course, I really liked).
I have a vision for my next project. I’m envisioning something electric guitar based, lots of alternate tunings, and hopefully more “live”. I’ve been playing a lot more guitar these days and have been actually inspired in doing so (hence the above guitar purchase).
Hopefully I can wrap up the Liquid State CD (which is great) in the not too distant future and move on to the next thing.
Oh, and last I heard on the Inglistown CD (now renamed to “Inglas” due to a spelling error… serendipity) the artwork is ready and the liner notes are being prepped. Nice. “42 Shades” should be shipping soon, as the artwork is done there too… just gotta get it duped.
