After my performance at last week’s open mic at Angelica’s Bistro in Redwood City, I was invited back to be a part of a contest that will happen this Friday night… people were invited over open mics over the last several months to perform and compete for a $250 prize.  Pretty cool… not sure how much of a chance I have, but what the heck, it will be fun.

The interesting and fun challenge for me is to prepare some of my original songs… if you know my music, a lot of it is not easily arranged for solo acoustic.  So far I have a few songs ready to go.  I’m not sure how many originals vs. covers I’m going to do (or even how much material I get to perform).  I guess I’ll see Friday night!
